POLICY UPDATE:

Please Note: Rooms 7, 14,15, and 16 all have restrooms on the 1st floor of the suite, separate from the sleeping quarters which are upstairs. Rooms 1, 6, 9, 10, 13, 14,15 and 16 all have jacuzzi tubs that require a step-up into the tub. If you require alternate accommodations based on these room details, please hit the back button and select another room or call us at time of booking.

LITTLE LUXURIES

Little Luxuries must be ordered 48 hours in advance of your confirmed arrival date.

RATES

Rates per suite are as shown and are based on double occupancy. Most rooms have a maximum occupancy of 2 people; however, we do have a few rooms which will allow for additional guests. Additional guests are welcome in those rooms only for an additional rate of $35.00 per person, per night, including children. Prices available on this website are subject to change at any time and without prior notice. Pricing through third party reservation agencies such as Expedia, VRBO, or AirBnb may vary as well. If you are unsure about the pricing of a particular suite please contact us Monday – Sunday from 9:00am – 5:00pm at 830-997-1615.

PAYMENT

You will be charged 50% of the total amount due for your reserved stay at the time of your booking. The remaining 50% will be due 10 days before your scheduled arrival and will be charged to the card on file.

CHECK IN/OUT TIMES

Our check in time is 3 - 6 pm. If you anticipate a late arrival, please let us know in advance by calling our office at 830-997-1615 so that we can go over instructions for our self-check in.

Check out time is 11 am. Late checkouts must be approved and are subject to an additional charge.

BREAKFAST

Breakfast baskets are delivered to your room each day by 8am. Because we are a small operation, we cannot accept special requests. Please let us know if you have a food allergy.

CANCELLATIONS

The Winchester Lodge is a family owned and operated property. Due to the small size of our Lodge, cancellations can greatly affect our business. Therefore, we must uphold our cancellation policy without exception. Please verify your travel plans before confirming your booking. Our cancellation policy is as followed:

  • If you cancel 10 days or less prior to your confirmed arrival date no refund will be issued, and you will be responsible for the entire reservation amount.

  • If you cancel 11 days or more prior to your confirmed arrival date, your deposit will be refunded in full minus a $35 cancellation fee which will be charged to the credit card on file.

  • Refunds will not be issued for no shows, late arrivals, early departures, or cancellations made under ten days of the scheduled arrival date regardless of the circumstances. There are no exceptions to this policy, including illness, family emergencies, or inclement weather.

GROUP BOOKINGS

Group bookings consist of 8 or more rooms and are subject to separate policies. Please contact our office for more information. Group bookings have the option of enjoying special happy hour events, wine or pop-up dinners, brunch, or other dining and beverage options through our in-house culinary program.

CREDIT CARDS

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and Travelers Checks welcome. All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card or full cash payment in advance. If booking through a third-party booking site with a virtual card, a valid credit card will be required upon arrival for incidentals.

SMOKING

The Winchester Lodge is a 100% smoke free environment, which means absolutely no smoking of any kind anywhere on the property! Guests will be financially responsible ($250) for any cleaning or damage caused by smoking and will be automatically charged to the credit card on file.

DAMAGE DISCLAIMER

Our goal is to provide a unique experience for each guest, so we take pride in our linens, furnishings, etc. Please report any spills or damage immediately. We reserve the right to charge for excess cleaning, damages, repairs or replacement costs as we deem necessary. Any fees will be charged to the card on file without prior approval or notification.

Lost keys are subject to a $25 replacement fee.

The Winchester Lodge is not responsible for loss of money, jewelry, or other valuables. Any items left after your departure can be returned to you for the cost of shipping + a $10 administrative fee. Any items not claimed after 30 days will be donated.

CHILDREN

The Winchester Lodge is a family-owned venture and we welcome children under their parent’s supervision. Please respect other guests' privacy.

PETS

Pets are NOT allowed on the property, including emotional support animals. We can only accommodate service animals who are ADA Certified. A $500 fee will be charged to the credit card on file for any unauthorized pets found on property and you will be asked to vacate the premises.

POOL

Pool hours are from 9am to 9pm with no lifeguard on duty. Children 14 and under must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Low water crossing-please be advised that bad weather is out of our control.

Your confirmed reservation with The Winchester Lodge will constitute understanding and acceptance of the stated policies.
